Everything was FANTASTIC, breakfast was good hot and above average. The room was brand-new, with safe and fantastic views of the castle. Location: the hotel was right by a restaurant, the peascod st shops, and Windsor Castle, Eton, Eton High Street, Shopping strips and lots of dining options. Furthermore, close to attractions in Windsor.

Loving room service
On Sunday morning breakfast was very chaotic and completely overcrowded. Despite the visible efforts of the service staff.

I thought the hotel itself offered tranquility, but we were also able to go into Windsor and enjoy life. Being newly married, We were left to rest but if anything was needed, we knew staff were on hand to help us should we need anything. The room cleanliness was optimum. Everything was catered for, the facilities were very good. I have stayed in some very good hotels around the world in my life, but the Windsor MacDonald Hotel rates among the highest standard I have experienced. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family should they wish to stay in Windsor. Infact, I would recommend the Windsor MacDonald hotel to anyone!!
I thought the room service food (ordered) post 9.00 pm was really not very good. It was quite prompt, but the quality of the food was very poor considering the price. I suspect that chef had gone home and evening staff just prepared the easy option. I am sorry, but this was disappointing. Apart from that, we felt that there were no real complaints. The staff are all friendly. Keep it up !!!!!

The Hotel is modern and the rooms are well appointed and are excellent . The service at breakfast could be better and for a hotel of this standard . I would most certainly stay here again.

Friendly and very helpful staff, excellent service and in a prime location. The room was well presented and comfortable, and the standard of house keeping is obviously high.Room service was very good.
Breakfast cost is a little over priced especially if you don't want a cooked breakfast however there was no charge for our grandson. The extra child's bed mattress was not very comfortable, however this was free of charge and only for two nights.

Great location, comfortable beds, excellent dinner in the evening. Breakfast rather normal.
The staff at breakfast was not very friendly. But it was quite good at the reception and in the evening as well.

Super check-in. All wishes considered. Breakfast exceeded all expectations. Large selection of bread and pastries. Also the warm English breakfast offered a lot of variety. The service staff was very attentive. The central location is simply great. That's as good as it gets! Everything around the corner (shops, post office, restaurants, pubs, theatre etc.). At any time we would choose this hotel again :-)
Nothing!

Liked spending my time in this fairly clean low budget hotel. The staff was very friendly efficient, well organised. The room was a nice size and well-equipped in bar of an evening, besides it had wake-up service, just in case. Right next to a castle and a museum, overall the location was perfect and incredible. They recommended a very nice restaurant for dinner.
